Our Under-13s team is a hardworking, determined and enthusiastic group of young players who continue to develop their football skills, confidence and teamwork every week.

A special thank you to Tom, who started the team and helped build the foundations that have brought everyone together. Thanks also to Robin for all the support, guidance and commitment in those early seasons.

Gav and Sam have now been coaching the team for the past year and have brought plenty of energy, encouragement and enthusiasm, helping the players continue to grow both on and off the pitch.
The team has a fantastic spirit, with the players supporting each other, working hard and enjoying their football together.

Here’s to another fantastic season filled with goals, great performances, teamwork, plenty of laughs and unforgettable memories. Keep working hard, keep believing and most importantly, keep enjoying your football!

Gav Grepellini
Hi, I’m Gavin, and I’m delighted to be starting my second season as coach of the Under-13s.
One of the things I enjoy most about coaching is helping the players develop not just as footballers, but as individuals. For me, resilience is a big part of that — encouraging the boys to have a positive attitude, overcome difficult situations, learn from setbacks and, most importantly, work together as a team.
It’s great to see their confidence and teamwork grow, and I’m looking forward to another enjoyable season with the team

Sam Masih
Hi, I’m Sam Masih, and I’m delighted to be part of the Riccall United U13 as an assistant coach.
With my 3 year experience as an assistant coach I bring a wealth of experience along with FA coaching Level 1, Safeguarding and Health and Safety training.
I’ve always had a real passion for football, both as a player and now as an assistant coach. My aim is to help the youth develop their footballing ability, confidence and understanding of the game, while most importantly making sure they enjoy their football.
I believe at U13 level it’s important to create a positive environment where everyone feels valued, works hard for each other and has the opportunity to improve. I’m looking forward to getting to know the players, supporting their development and hopefully having a really enjoyable and successful season together.
I’m really excited for the season ahead and can’t wait to get started!
