Riccall United FC

The 2024/25 season was the first season for the Lions. Two teams were set up due to the number of players that wanted to take up football and that was the best way of giving everyone as much playing time as possible.

Meet the Coaches
Mike Isted
Mike played football from age 13 to his mid 30’s, winning several league titles. He played for Riccall United in his teens and was Riccall United Player of the Year. As a defender, playing mainly CB and LB, he is prone to nose bleeds when crossing the half-way line. Mike started coaching at Riccall United in May 2023 and has really enjoyed coaching and seeing the Lions progress in the local league .

Kieran Alden
Hi I'm Kieran, and I've been involved with Riccall United since May 2023, working with four other dad's to start the club's first Under 5 squad. Watching our group of children enjoy their football and progress over the last few years, from day 1 to now playing local league games, has been a joy and so worthwhile. Since then I've helped the club establish the following two years of U5s teams in the hope those children have the opportunity to enjoy the game in the same way as our U7s.
