The 2024/25 season was the first season for the Lions. Two teams were set up due to the number of players that wanted to take up football and that was the best way of giving everyone as much playing time as possible.

Meet the Coaches

Liam Bradley
Liam Bradley has been a dedicated member of Riccall United Football Club since joining as a 16-year-old player in 1999. Over the years, he progressed through the club to become First Team Manager and Club Secretary, playing a pivotal role in its development and success. During his time as manager, he guided the First Team from Division 2 to the York League Premier Division before stepping down from the role while continuing as Club Secretary. The foundations built during his tenure contributed to the team's eventual Premier Division title win in 2015.

In 2010, alongside Roger White, Liam helped establish the junior section of Riccall United. Despite facing challenges along the way, the junior setup has grown steadily and is now flourishing, providing opportunities for the next generation of players. Liam remains at the heart of the club, continuing as Club Secretary while undertaking many other responsibilities behind the scenes. Entering his 28th year with Riccall United, including more than 20 years as Club Secretary, his commitment, passion, and unwavering dedication to the club remain as strong as ever. He truly loves the club and would gladly do even more if he could.
